All models iPhone 16 supports up to 45W of wired fast charging via the USB-C port, an increase from the 29W of iPhone 15 according to a new certification shared by the famously delicious ShrimpApplePro.
Details submitted to the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) and published on the Weibo platform confirm that all iPhone 16 models have been tested at 5-15V and 3 amps, suggesting a charging capacity of up to 45 watts.

Apple revealed earlier this week that the new iPhone 16 models also support upgraded MagSafe charging, but did not mention any changes to wired fast charging. With a 30W charger, the new iPhones can charge up to 25W via MagSafe, which is an improvement over the previous 15W limit.
The new iPhone 16 models are available for pre-order from today, Friday, September 13, with the launch to follow on Friday, September 20.
