Bouygues Telecom shook the fiber market in France by launching the B & Yewy Pure Fiber offer in November 2023. While the Triple Play subscriber remains very present, this subscription focuses only on internet access. For 23.99 euros per month, it offers nothing but a high-performance connection with a flow rate to 8 GB/s for download and Wi-Fi 6th. Television and landphones are absent from this formula, which targets young people who only need fiber.
This offer, which stands out as one of the most interesting on the market, now has competition. Free has just unveiled the Freebox Pop S offer, which appears at 24.99 euros, and adopted part of this ‘100 % Internet’ offer of offer; Well almost. If television of the absence shines, Free holds the landline phone to make it a formidable double play offer. Who offers the best offer between free and builder? What does Orange and SFR offer? The Geek newspaper compared the four accessible offers of the moment with major operators.
Freebox Pop S vs B & You Pure Fiber vs Sosh vs Red Box Box: The painting to understand everything in a customer of an eye
From the beginning, this comparison is interested in affordable offers about 25 euros per month (between 23.99 and 25.99 euros per month), the price of which does not develop after 6 or 12 months. This forced us not to include offers such as the Special Just Livebox Fiber Series (19.99 euros/month for six months, then 33.99 euros/month), the BBOX Fit (28.99 euros/month for one year, then 35.99 euro/month) or Freebox Pop (29.99 euro/month for a year and 39.999910 year). These subscriptions may have an interest, but they do not match our criteria, and the four major operators understood it by offering 100 % internet formulas.
In addition to the freebox pop s and the pure B & you fiber, we added the proposals of Sosh (Orange) and Red (SFR) to our comparison. They are much the same and older as the new features of free and builder, leading to the presence of paid optional television, older routers and more limited flow (up to 1 GB/s).

On paper, Free and Bouygues clearly have the advantage and offer the most interesting offers. They are in direct competition, with some important subtleties that can make the difference. Bouygues Telecom is the only one to offer a 100 % internet formula, that is, without television, without a fixed telephony and even without ADSL option if we are not eligible for fiber. The Freebox Pop S offers less important flow, but it has the advantage of holding a fixed telephony and an ADSL option for the forgotten fiber.
What offer should you choose?
B&E pure fiber if you only want an effective internet connection
The B & You Pure Fiber offer is perhaps the most affordable of our equation (23.99 euros), it offers the best falling and standing. Bouygues do better than its competitor free for download (8 GB/s versus 5 GB/s) or send (1 GB/s at 900 MB/s), and before SOSH or SFR. Even if it does not include Wi-Fi 7 in its offer, the operator offers Wi-Fi on the 6 GHz band and this 6th Wi-Fi allows the increased flow. Note that Bouygues use Telecom a third Wi-Fi frequency tape (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz), while Free Wi-Fi 7 “BI-band” (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) uses.
The last element for the smallest budgets is the saving of 1 euro/month that can be made on the subscription. If the connection rate is your priority, the B&U-Pure Fiber Offer may be needed, provided you are eligible for XGS pon. The operator specifies that if the accommodation is not eligible, the subscriber must be satisfied with a theoretical flow of up to 2 GB/s for download and 900 MB/s in the wheel.
